A virtual reality tour of St Georges Tower

27 June 2017

Students of the University of Leicester International Study Centre starred in a series of virtual reality videos showcasing St Georges Tower.

For potential students who are unable to visit the campus, a series of virtual reality videos were produced to act as a guided tour. The tour includes students visiting different places throughout St Georges Tower and giving first-hand information on what to do there. The 360° aspect allows viewers to explore the building with their computer mouse, mobile phone or tablet.

From anywhere in the world, people can now see inside St Georges Tower and explore the common room, IT room, quiet study area, accommodation and a classroom. The videos feature students from all over the world, highlighting not only the tower’s facilities, but its international community.

The University of Leicester International Study Centre was chosen for this opportunity because of the unique nature of St Georges Tower. The building is home to both the student accommodation and the International Study Centre, creating a convenient place to study.
