Our University of Surrey International Study Centre are experiencing some very exciting growth. This means that within the centre there is high energy, variety, and fantastic development opportunity for staff. This is a new role within the centre that will play a key part in our student’s transition to the University partner.

Ensuring that our students have a world class experience whilst studying at our centre is key, and transitioning to the University with all the knowledge, support, and advice, that they require is essential. You will join the team taking on an array of different duties to ensure this happens. This will include acting as the key point of contact to students giving advice and guidance, and working closely with the University to organise student transition and engagement events. The other side of this role is focused on referrals, where you will work with the Study Group wider network, and the University, to ensure that we are maximising all potential opportunities for students.

This is a unique role, and a very new role within the Study Group network, that will require a mixture of high level of customer service and sales, and will only lead to opportunity as the position develops.

What experience do you need?

  • You will have extensive experience in both customer service and sales.
  • If you have experience in an Academic environment (teacher or support) then this would be highly desirable.
  • Experience managing external stakeholders would be advantageous.
  • You’ll be highly organised, energetic, and dynamic.
  • An approachable and empathetic personality is required.
