The role is based at our state of the art International Study Centre at the University of Sheffield. The main remit is to improve the service desk management and usage of our two main student management systems, Study Global and Progresso.

So what does the job actually involve?
In this job you’ll:
- Lead on the triage of support desk tickets to enable timely resolution.
- Work as part of a central team with ownership for all system processes currently automated.
- Support continuous improvement of these processes and of the system while maintaining standardisation.
- Analyse the processes and systems to contribute the effective delivery of support to end users
What skills will I need for this job?
You’ll certainly have experience within a customer service and/or systems focussed role. You’ll be comfortable using MS Office, particularly Excel, ideally to an advanced level. You’ll be a fluent communicator in English (written and spoken), and have exceptional attention to detail, and strong organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise.
Please note this role will require occasional travel within the UK.
