Student Services Officer

Job Description

Embassy English Student Services Officers promote the highest standards of quality, efficiency and customer care in all matters relating to student services, welfare and safeguarding. They are responsible for driving an exceptional student experience and being the supportive, problem-solving face of the centre.

Location: Embassy Central London

Key Responsibilities 

  • Accurately maintain and update the school database, documentation and records in compliance with British Council, ISI and Study Group guidelines
  • Work with the welfare Manager to promote student well-being and ensure all safeguarding policies are administered according to company policy
  • Support in provision of accommodation thorough homestays and residence(s), and maintain high levels of capacity in student residence(s).
  • Provide welfare and pastoral support to students including, where necessary, registering students with the NHS, and booking medical appointments.

Organisational Compliance

The position holder must comply with Study Group policies and applicable laws including those in relation, but not limited to: Occupational Health and Safety; Anti-Discrimination and Harassment, Anti-Bribery and Corruption and those specifically relevant to the position and authority of the job holder.

Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the role, including checks with past employers, an Enhanced check from the Disclosure and Disbarring Service (DBS) and overseas criminal records checks if appropriate.
