Working in the Professional Services Team you support and staff students through the year in a number of activities that will ensure that world-class student experience is had by all.

It’s a dynamic working environment based in the heart of a beautiful campus that is extremely picturesque with a calm, peaceful atmosphere. The centre offers a variety of different courses that help the students prepare for a UK University. When joining, you will receive a full induction, additional training, and full support from the team.

Role responsibilities

Our University of Surrey International Study Centre is experiencing some very exciting growth. This means that within the centre there is high energy, variety, and fantastic development opportunity for staff. The Professional Services Team is a core function within the centre, managing all activity outside of the classroom. In this job role, you will take ownership of a variety of duties. Whether you’re working on the front desk, administrating student finance, taking on general centre admin, or handling room bookings, events, and catering, we can assure you that no day will be the same.

Experience and qualifications

  • You will have high-level customer service skills ideally from a face to face working environment
  • You’ll be experienced in managing high volumes of general admin
  • You will be a dynamic, approachable, empathetic, and positive person
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Ideally excel)
  • Experience working with financial admin would be highly desirable
  • If you’ve had experience working in an education environment than that is advantageous.
