This is an exciting job opportunity where you’ll join the BELSS team as a Sociology Tutor. Teaching small-medium classes (15-18 students) of international students studying on our Level 3 programme, you’ll have the opportunity to work in an autonomous environment where student-centred, innovative, lessons are encouraged.

You’ll have the chance to deliver engaging lessons to students on our International Foundation Year (Level 3). You’ll teach across our Business, Economics, Law and Social Sciences pathway, specifically teaching on the Sociology modules. There will be roughly between 8-15 hours contact time per week. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the development of materials and formative assessment across the modules you will deliver.
Experience and Qualifications
- You will be a student-centred Tutor, with experience teaching Sociology to a minimum of Level 3 (Essential)
- You’ll need a Degree in Sociology or a relevant subject area (Essential)
- A Master’s Degree in a related field would be desirable
- A teaching qualification is desirable
