Senior Tutor

We are seeking to appoint a Senior Tutor.

Key responsibilities

The person will be responsible for:

  • Managing the tutorial programme and PSHE (where applicable) for their programme(s) with Head of Middle School and Director of Welfare, working with Senior Tutors across Bellerbys to develop and maintain the programme content
  • Supporting the Head of Middle School and liaising with Programme Assistants
  • Supporting Tutors on a day to day basis with guidance on welfare matters
  • Supporting the welfare of the students on a day to day basis
  • Ensuring the delivery of PSHE to students where applicable.

The successful applicant must have the following personal qualities:

  • Able to work decisively and with autonomy
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Empathy
  • Proactive and creative when it comes to motivating tutors and students.

Bellerbys Brighton.
