Due to some very exciting growth, we are looking for an administrator who is resilient, focused, and personable, to join the Professional Services Team. As a Registry and Operations Officer, you will play a lead role within the team providing administrative support for the full range of activities in the Registry and Operations function of the College.

Contract Type: Full Time
Salary: £18,000 per annum

Key responsibilities

Our Registry and Operations team within the College are responsible for ensuring that the student’s central record is accurate and maintained, and reflect the student's journey throughout their study. Through the maintenance of the databases, your team will be responsible for providing key data sets and statistical information for all stakeholders, both internal and external. This includes student timetables, personal data, and programme of study, assessment and examination information and compliance documentation.

In this job role, you will be responsible for supporting and carrying out tasks within the Registry and Operations Team, which includes data input and creation, auditing data and systems and problem-solving.

You will contribute to the overall objective of the College—“preparing international students to progress and thrive at the University of Sheffield through successful completion of their programme”--by ensuring that the student record is accurate at all times and that teaching and learning can take place effectively in a safe and secure environment.

Experience and qualifications

  • You will have experience in basic administration, ideally gained from working in a busy office environment with a high volume of admin tasks. (essential)
  • You’ll have an acute attention to detail and be highly organised.
  • Experience working a student facing role in Further Education or Higher Education (desirable).
  • Recent graduates would be considered for this job role.
