We are looking to add a Progression, Welfare, and Support Officer to our Professional Services Team. Salary: £19,000
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent

What is this role and where does it fit in?

This role works within the friendly, fast paced Professional Services Team, in a positive and dynamic working environment. The role will lead and manage on a daily basis the pastoral, welfare and academic study needs of individual and groups of students, using a range of tools and reporting mechanisms, to promote and secure the progression of students at the centre to our University Partners.

What experience do you need?

  • Experience of dealing with student pastoral issues and complaints.
  • Experience of using UCAS Apply (desirable)
  • Experience of working with international students would be an advantage,
  • Monitoring student progress through action planning.
  • Providing appropriate social activities to students.

Where is this role based?

Our Leeds International Study Centre is a fantastic place of education offering a number of different programmes to international students. Based in Headingley Stadium, the centre offers a pleasant working environment, with new refurbished facilities. There is a café on site and free parking for staff. This is a growing, forward thinking centre that offers lots of opportunity to someone that wants to progress.
