Job overview

This is an exciting role working in the fast paced Professional Services Team, that play a key part in our student’s experience, acting as the first point of contact for all activity outside of the classroom. This position offers you lots of variety, taking responsibility of student support, progression, student welfare, and general administration within the centre. This means that your day will consist of interacting with students from all over the world, empowering them to achieve the Higher Education goals, whilst knowing that you are having a hugely positive effect on their student experience.

Key responsibilities

  • You will monitor students’ progress through the use of in-center reporting procedures in conjunction with the academic success tutors.
  • You’ll provide welfare and pastoral support to students and refer them for additional support where required from external services.
  • To ensure safeguarding of students and to refer any concerns to the designated safeguarding lead.
  • To assist on a variety of general administration tasks.


  • You’ll have previous experience working in a student support or advisory and guidance role. Previous experience in customer service will also be considered.
  • We would love to see experience with general administration in an office environment, including a good knowledge of Microsoft excel.
  • You will be approachable and empathetic, with excellent listening and communication skills.
  • You’ll be a positive team player that can be adaptable to an ever changing environment.
