Salary:  £23,000-£24,000 per annum

Contract Type: Full time, permanent

What is this role and where does it fit in?

  • The Progression and Student Experience Coordinator is a varied role that includes a number of different activities related to our students experience and progression. See below some just exciting areas of this role:
  • You will provide high quality support to our students to ensure that the best experience is had by all.
  • You’ll work on our student induction programme and registration.
  • You will use our systems to monitor student progress and, in conjunction with the Centre management team, identify areas for development.
  • You will develop and support a student experience calendar to include social events and activities and celebration/ awards events.
  • Work closely with the Head of Curriculum and Progression to organise and support Staff-Student Liaison Committee and run student focus groups.

What experience do you need?

  • You should be an approachable people person, with a warm and friendly personality. This role works within a busy and energetic team, so as well as this you will be a dynamic, highly organised, driven, and adaptable person, with a key eye for data.  A passion for helping students is essential. If you have the below then we would love to hear from you:
  • You will have experience supporting students in a Further Education or Higher Education environment.
  • Experience using different data management systems.
  • Experience working under pressure in a busy working environment.
  • High level of competency using the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Qualified to degree level.

The Location

Our Lancaster University International Study Centre is based in a vibrant campus in the heart of Lancaster. With city, coast, and countryside within a short distance, this location is certainly unique. The centre has high class facilities in a fantastic working environment. There’s a dynamic curriculum on offer with the centre providing programmes across Level 3 (International Foundation), Level 6 (Pre-masters), and in English language preparation.
