Marketing Intern

We're looking for a paid marketing intern to be based at our offices in Brighton, a stone's throw from the train station. In this job you'll co-ordinate the delivery of a wide range of marketing activities to drive sales and improve profitability. It's a role offering variety, and the chance to be part of a friendly, energetic and collegiate team environment.

Key responsibilities

As our marketing intern you'll:

  • Support the Marketing Manager in the briefing, creation, implementation and testing of digital marketing activities across a range of channels e.g. web, email, e-learning
  • Maintain the accuracy of public information hosted online
  • Support with researching, curating, proofing and publishing website content
  • Analyse and report on performance data to assess whether marketing objectives are being met and to identify trends and opportunities
  • Continually seek to improve the customer experience by listening to and acting on customer feedback and behaviour data
  • Undertake administrative duties, including keeping data in IT systems current

Qualifications and attributes required

To be our marketing intern you'll have a degree, ideally (not essentially) in Marketing or English, and be a fluent communicator. You'll need to have first class written English for proofing, be comfortable with MS Office, and be able to work to tight deadlines.

Experience of updating meta data/basic html, copywriting and Google Analytics would all be useful, and knowledge of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) techniques and technologies wouldn't hurt either. But if you don't have those, but you tick our other boxes, we'd still love to hear from you!
