Job overview

We are looking for a highly efficient HR Administrator to support our dynamic HR team in the management of recruitment compliance and all other aspects of HR transactional processing. Working as part of a global team, having experience with both UK and US HR Operations is important in ensuring you can provide quality support to both of these areas of the business.

You will be self-motivated and have the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively with the wider team and stakeholders within the business. Ideal for someone with a continuous improvements mind set, this role will allow your curiosity to thrive as you support the HR Operations Manager to continually improve and streamline processes. Showing excellent attention to detail and a positive attitude to everything you do will give you a great head start in this exciting opportunity.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue job offer letters and starter packs for new employees
  • Carry out pre-employment checks and maintain record of DBS checks for new staff
  • Administration of leavers, variation to contracts
  • Answer queries from managers and staff on all transactional HR administration (first line queries)
  • Enter/check data as required into the HR system, ensuring that all data is input and correct in time for appropriate deadlines
  • Upload jobs to the website for vacancies
  • Assist the HR Department with appropriate administration duties, such as photocopying and e-filing as and when required
  • Ensure principles of Study Group’s equal opportunities and diversity policies are adhered to
  • Ensure confidentiality of personal data is maintained
  • Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of students
  • Undertake all other duties as required commensurate with the post.

Experience

  • Educated to degree level (Desirable)
  • CIPD Level 3 (Desirable)
  • Previous HR Administration experience of working in a global HR Environment.
  • Experience of working with a HR ticketing system.
  • Experience of using MS office suite to produce letters, record data
  • Establishing and maintaining filing systems
  • Knowledge of general office procedures
  • Ability to develop and maintain robust reporting systems
  • The ability to respond to appropriate requests for assistance, maintaining confidentiality whenever necessary
  • Ability to communicate with clients and people at all internal levels of the organisation
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent level of written and oral skills
  • Excellent organisational skills in a pressurised environment
  • Ability to prioritise effectively and escalate issues where appropriate.
