Based at our Head Office in Brighton, a stone’s throw from the train station, in this job you’ll work with the Bellerbys leadership team and the Sales, Admissions & Marketing leadership to create and implement the Bellerbys 5-Year Marketing Plan, with a “digital and social-media first” approach.

What will the job actually involve?

Managing a team of three, you’ll be the “product evangelist”, creating and implementing the Bellerbys Marketing Plan which will play an integral role in positioning and marketing the Bellerbys brand.

You’ll achieve this across three areas:

  • Source Markets – You’ll fully understand the market drivers of each source market and use this to develop innovative programs that drive demand. Prioritising the markets that will have the biggest impact on our growth, you will have an attention to detail and eye for quality, along with an ability to grasp and present our product’s value proposition in a way that resonates and clearly articulates how we solve our customers’ needs.
  • Competitors – You know our competitors like the back of your hand; what they do today and what they plan to do in the future. You will create, update and implement the 5-Year Plan to position Bellerbys and grow the business to leverage these insights.
  • Students – You also know our customers better than they know themselves, including how they make their buying decisions across the Student Journey.  You back up strategic insights with market evidence and then use that knowledge to drive the development of positioning and messaging that resonates with our customers and empowers our sales channels to be successful.

What skills will I need for the job?

You’ll have experience as a senior marketing professional (ideally in an international environment), with a strong emphasis on digital and social media. You’ll have a track record of leading, developing and delivering initiatives with a strong results focus. You’ll be able to produce eye-catching and engaging content, but will also have the analytical mindset to be able to understand data and use it to produce insights to tailor that content to specific markets. You’ll be diplomatic, able to work with multiple stakeholders and deal with ambiguity.
