We are Study Group, a global pathway provider in International Education. Due to some very exciting changes we are hiring a Head of Curriculum and Progression, to take responsibility of the teaching staff, programmes, and quality of the academic delivery.

Key responsibilities

This centre is about to embark on some exciting changes with the introduction on a brand new Pre-Masters programme. This is a key role within the centre, and will take ownership of the successful deliver of this programme. The role will also be responsible for the academic management of the Surrey centre, overseeing the effectiveness of the teaching staff, programmes and the overall quality of the academic delivery. The role will also provide co-ordination of teaching, learning and assessment and academic management, as well giving inspirational leadership and direction to the tutors at Surrey ISC.

What experience do you need?

  • Substantial academic and curriculum management experience.
  • A track record of delivering quality improvements in an education setting.
  • A minimum of a Masters Qualification.
  • Strong people management skills.
  • Proven experience building and managing key stakeholder relationships.
  • Previous experience delivering new programmes would be desirable.

Where is the role based?

Our University of Surrey International Study Centre, based in Guildford, is based in the heart of a beautiful campus that is extremely picturesque with a calm, peaceful atmosphere. The centre offers an International Foundation programme, a Pre-Masters programme, and English language preparation courses. There are a variety of pathways offered on both programmes as well as a variety of students from all across the globe.
