We’re hiring for an Executive Assistant, to be based at our Head Office in Brighton, a stone’s throw from the train station. In this job you’ll use your first class organisational and communication abilities to provide excellent executive business support to two of our top team, based in Europe and the US. You’ll liaise with external clients and senior executives worldwide, arrange international travel arrangement and itineraries, and organise and prepare for key meetings/conference calls.

What will the job actually involve?

Some of the things you’ll be doing:

  • Complex diary management in Outlook: scheduling meetings, sometimes at short notice across multiple time zones
  •  Providing administrative support including diary management, mail distribution, meeting/travel/function arrangements, expenses management, filing, photocopying, preparing minutes of meetings and PowerPoint presentations
  • Maintain the strictest confidentiality and security of conversations, documentation and files at all times
  • Assist with the preparation for offsite meetings
  • Ensure compliance to all policies, procedures, standard operating procedures and safe working practices, with recommendations for action and continuous improvement
  • Supporting the wider HR team.

What skills will I need for the job?

You’ll have substantial experience supporting senior executives (ideally more than one.) You’ll have exemplary diary and email management skills, and you’ll also be used to working with highly confidential information, able to apply the highest standards of discretion. And as mentioned earlier, life moves fast at Study Group, so you’ll need to be able to work at pace, with multiple priorities and stakeholders.

If you have experience of supporting a Human Resources function, then that’s great. But if you don’t, and you tick our other boxes, we’d still love to hear from you!
