We are seeking an Examinations Coordinator to join the Durham University International Study Centre to carry out all assessment and examination related administration.

Key responsibilities

The Examinations Coordinator is a key role within the Academic Administration Team, supporting with all administrative aspects of assessments and examinations and ensuring assessments are carried out in accordance with ISC and University rules and regulations, including the organisation and running of exams, and the capture, verification, publication and reporting of results.

You will also assist with the planning and implementation of induction and other events, assist with activities in relation to visa and compliance requirements, provide support on the Student Support Helpdesk and assist the Professional Services Team as required.


You will demonstrate:

  • Experience of working in a pressurised environment
  • Experience working with databases and manipulating large amounts of data
  • Experience of working in an Assessment Administration role
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular advanced Word and Excel skills
  • Experience of working with students in an education environment
