Director of Talent Acquisition.

It’s an exciting time to be in Talent Acquisition here at Study Group. We have plans to develop a truly global function that can manage and develop attraction, selection and appointment of candidates across our entire business. We want to maximise our use of social media and other channels to improve our candidate attraction methodologies, and to promote ourselves as an “employer of choice”. We need to develop robust and efficient recruitment systems, and to engage with stakeholders globally in order to develop relationships and offer a first class service focussed on time, cost and quality of hire. And we’re looking for someone to drive this process.

The role can be based at our offices in central Brighton or in Marylebone, London.

What skills will I need for the job?

You’ll have previously led and developed a Talent Acquisition function in a global environment, managing team members remotely. You’ll have a track record of implementing new systems and methodologies, and improving existing ones. You’ll be exceptional at stakeholder management (to C-level), able to build relationships, and also to challenge stakeholders where necessary. You’ll have at least some experience of executive search.

So what will the job actually involve?

You’ll develop and manage a global team of recruitment specialists. You’ll optimise delivery, identifying appropriate metrics (time to hire/cost, etc.), and ensure opportunities are promoted across multiple channels internally and externally. You’ll provide strategic direction to the recruitment function, remodelling existing activities to improve the recruitment offering, harmonising recruitment across campus and non-campus operations, identify and implement new and improved sourcing methods, and taking responsibility for global candidate tracking and management. You’ll promote Study Group and its brands as an employer of choice, proactively creating an Employee Value Proposition and promoting it internally and externally, develop a first class “candidate journey”, and work with HR and senior colleagues to develop a succession planning and internal development strategy.
