Job overview

Cleaning Team Leader required for 35 hours per week working on a rota between the hours of 6am and 5pm Monday to Saturday!

We are looking for a Cleaning Team Leader to join our busy Cleaning and Facilities team to supervise our cleaning staff, focusing on performance and setting high standards whilst cleaning our Head Office on Stroudley Road behind Brighton train station.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys working in a fast paced environment within a diverse and enthusiastic cleaning team. You’ll need to enjoy working as part of a team and in this role you will supervisor up to 14 cleaning staff.

You won’t require any prior qualifications as we will support you through all essential training for the role. You will however, have experience in managing people and be reliable and trusted to support our team.

Key responsibilities

The supervision of all cleaning staff focussing on their performance in terms of standards of cleanliness and their behaviour whilst on duty.

Ensuring that a first class cleaning service is delivered to all areas of the building.

Be responsible for the attendance of staff and checking of the floors/jobs to ensure each task is completed to the highest standards.

You will also have your own cleaning duties to do beside your supervision responsibility.
