Bellerbys College Cambridge is looking for a full time Cleaning Manager.

Contract: 1 Full time +1 fixed term (1 year Maternity Cover)

The successful applicant for this position will be required to undertake the following duties and responsibilities as part of their role:

  • Supporting the Facilities Manager to deliver a high standard of cleaning throughout the School and Accommodation buildings
  • Day to day operational responsibility for all cleaning staff and their welfare
  • Administrate staff- to include timesheets, return to work interviews, rotas etc.
  • Regular checks and audits of staff, supplies, equipment and Health & Safety practices
  • Ordering of stock as required
  • Training and mentoring of all staff within the department
  • Assist Facilities Manager and wider study group team with implementing new ideas and innovations
  • Liaise with agencies in order to fulfil any temporary staffing issues
  • Liaise with other departments within Study Group to assist in their service delivery
  • Weekly reporting to Facilities Manager and attendance at weekly and monthly operations meetings
  • Implement COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) regulations and guidelines
  • Communication with building stakeholders
