We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident individual to help run our growing digital marketing campaigns. You should possess proven online marketing/advertising skills and the ability to learn and understand quickly.

You will be supported by a growing Paid Media team as well as a full team of digital marketing specialists focusing on SEO, Content, Social Media, Email and Reporting & Insights. You will work with marketing managers, sales, creative services and web development teams to deliver integrated campaigns.

Job description

As a Chinese Paid Media Analyst, you will support the business objective to recruit highly qualified students from China and South East Asia to our Higher Education brands. Your core responsibility will be to plan and manage the running of digital marketing campaigns. You will report to the Head of Paid Media and manage campaigns for our global brands across UK and EU, North America, and Australia and New Zealand.

Campaign management and optimization

  • Campaign structure implementation
  • Keyword research
  • Ad copy development
  • Budget management
  • Bid management and account optimization
  • Focus on meeting and exceeding campaign targets

Technical set-up

  • Set-up, test and manage tracking tags via tag management solution
  • Set-up conversion tracking within platforms like Baidu, WeChat, Google and Facebook
  • Set-up and manage audience lists
  • Update Analytics goal and event tracking


  • Weekly/monthly report creation
  • Report analysis & commentary
  • Presentation inputs for quarterly campaign reviews
  • Forecasting inputs

What we need:

Technical skills/knowledge/tools:

  • Proven experience of platforms such as Baidu, WeChat, QQ, Google Ads and Facebook platforms (essential)
  • Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English and written simplified and traditional Chinese (essential)
  • Google Ads, Google Analytics certified (ideal)
  • Confident in using Excel, Word, PowerPoint (ideal)
  • Familiar with use of third party campaign management solutions (ideal)
