Our Student Centre Services Team is a core function in our Durham University International Study Centre. This team support the day to day running of the centre covering a range of duties and responsibilities related to both staff and students.
In this position, you will have a variety of key general administration duties that include staff induction, travel bookings, stationary orders, financial tasks, basic payroll, and the centres postal service. You’ll also take minutes and reports in management meetings, dealing with key confidential information.

Salary: £22,000 per annum

What experience do you need?
- You will need excellent administration skills, with proven experience managing high volumes.
- You will have previous experience working in a customer service focused position, be approachable and empathetic, with excellent communication skills.
- You’ll be proficient with Microsoft Office, in particular Word and Excel.
- If you’ve had previous experience dealing with senior stakeholders in a business then this would be highly desirable.
- Previous experience working in an education setting would be highly desirable.
