Job overview

We are seeking to recruit a Catering Administration Assistant to join our Catering Team at Bellerbys College in Brighton. This role will support the UK Catering Manager and Deputy Catering Manager to assist with the General Catering administration of the catering department, including recruitment. The successful candidate will be a team player, a confident communicator, accurate with good attention to detail coupled with the ability to work under pressure and manage their own work load.

Key responsibility

  • To assist with administration duties required of the Catering department
  • To assist cash counting, cash reconciliation & reporting
  • To manage recruitment and on-boarding for UK Catering
  • To enter data accurately in a variety of web based software applications including recipe management software
  • To maintain office files/folders and update as neccessary
  • To scan and update records & online folders as necessary
  • Manage the training matrix for the UK Catering dept
  • To scan invoices and update invoice records
  • To assist Brighton catering team with online training


  • Experience in similar role and/or appropriate qualifications e.g. Business Admin
  • Experience in working in an administration office
  • Experience in accurate data entry/filing
  • Computer literate (MS)
  • Numerical skills
  • Ability to create and use spreadsheets, use databases
  • Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
  • Good organisational skills
