At Study Group, our Admissions department plays an incredibly important role in providing a first class experience for our students, and delivering on our philosophy to put “Students first”. We’re looking for an energetic candidate with first class management and communication abilities for this vital role. In this job you'll manage a UK based Admissions team, and be responsible for the successful management of student applications within that team. You'll be an important point of contact for stakeholders across the UK & Europe business, managing improvement and change related actions as required, and providing support to projects within the Admissions function.

Key responsibilities

  • In this job you will manage a specific UK/Europe Admissions team to ensure the effective processing of student applications in order to meet published Service Level agreement targets, primarily involving:
    • Issuance of Confirmation documents
    • Issuance of CAS documentation
    • Management of pre-arrival tasks
    • Processing of related general queries
  • Collaboration with the Singapore Admissions team to provide support to wider aspects of the Admissions process, involving:
    • Customer Service
    • Triage and Booking
    • Assessment
  • Leadership and personal development of a diverse team
  • To deputise for the Admissions Manager as required, supporting wider Global Access Hub remit
  • To act as a point of contact and subject matter expert to key stakeholders in the UK & Europe business
  • To support in ongoing project and process improvement work related to Admissions

Qualifications and Experience required

If you have previous experience within an Admissions function, then that's great. If not, we'd expect you have experience of leading and developing a team (running team meetings, doing 121s etc) and strong customer service/administration skills within a high volume environment. You'll be IT literate, able to run reports on Excel and navigate databases, and be able to manage targets and meet service levels. You'll be committed to "continuous improvement", with a track record of improving processes and procedures.
