Our Professional Services Team is the backbone of our study centres, with responsibility for all activity outside of the classroom. Throughout the academic year, there is a variety of admin tasks that this team has to manage. We are looking for a student focused administrator with a passion for working with international students. You’ll be part of a small welcoming team that is supportive and encouraging. The pace can be fast; however, this is a unique job where no day will be the same, and where you’ll know that each task is having a positive impact on students’ lives. The Student Support Administrator is a key role within The Professional Services Team. In this job, you will ensure that student attendance is recorded, monitored and reported on. Your role will be to ensure that student data is maintained and accurate and provide support with data requests to key stakeholders. You will also support with student finance tasks, the preparation and distribution of student timetables and support the Assessment Team during assessment periods.
In addition, you will also assist with registration and induction activities and other events, assist with activities in relation to visa and compliance requirements, provide support on the Student Support Helpdesk and assist the Professional Services Team as required. You’ll also have the chance to work with the students on student committee, as well as assisting with student events.
What experience do you need?
- Experience of working with high volumes of administration in a fast-paced environment (essential).
- Experience of working with database systems and data inputting (essential).
- Experience of working with students in an education environment (desirable).
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular, advanced Word and Excel skills (essential).
- You’ll be personable with excellent customer services skills, including patience and resilience.
