What is this role and where does it fit in?

The role of Administrative Assistant plays a key part in the running of the Liverpool John Moores University International Study Centre. The successful candidate will work closely with academic staff, the Student Services team and the students themselves. This vacancy is ideal for an organised person with strong communication skills that can successfully support the needs of students and staff alike. You will act as the first point of contact at the reception desk, create and develop a filing system for student records, and manage key information from our student databases.

This position is based at the Liverpool John Moores University International Study Centre! LJMU International Study Centre is a fantastic place to work! Contract: Fixed term contract ending 31/08/2018.

Salary: £20,000 per annum.

Selection Criteria

Experience Required

  • 1+ years’ experience in an admin focused role.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Data entry/data management experience.
  • Basic IT Skills (Office 365/Excel)
  • A warm and approachable personality.
