University of Surrey International Study Centre, our Surrey Study Centre, based in Guildford, is based in the heart of a beautiful campus that is extremely picturesque with a calm, peaceful atmosphere. The centre offers an International Foundation programme, a Pre-Masters programme, and English language preparation courses. There are a variety of pathways offered on both programmes as well as a variety of students from all across the globe.

We are seeking an Academic Manager to join the business on a fixed term contract that will taking responsibility of the teaching staff, programmes, and quality of the academic delivery.

This is a key role within the centre acting as part of the senior management team. The role will be responsible for the academic management of the Surrey centre, overseeing the effectiveness of the teaching staff, programmes and the overall quality of the academic delivery. The role will also provide co-ordination of teaching, learning and assessment and academic management, as well giving inspirational leadership and direction to the tutors at Surrey ISC.
- Substantial academic and curriculum management experience
- A track record of delivering quality improvements in an education setting.
- Strong people management skills
- Excellent communicator
- Strong proven leadership skills
