Taylors College Sydney is one of Australia’s leading university preparation colleges for overseas students. We offer Years 10, 11 and 12, and the University of Sydney Preparation Programs. The College enrols students in the University of Sydney Preparation Programs at the start of each school term. The College promotes a strong academic emphasis and high levels of student care and support.

We are seeking a full time senior History teacher for our University of Sydney Preparation Program. The position commences on 3rd February 2020 with an initial contract of one semester and possibility of extension.

It is essential that applicants have experience in teaching Years 11 and 12 HSC History with formal teacher education qualifications from a higher education institution within Australia or as recognised within AEI – NOOSR guidelines

Other advantages, but not essential, include

  • (i) experience in teaching any of the following
    • Years 11 and 12 HSC Society and Culture
    • Years 10, 11 and 12 HSC Geography
    • Accounting
  • (ii) experience teaching senior international students.
  • (iii) familiarity with Moodle.
  • (iv) NESA accreditation

The successful applicant will be part of a team of experienced HSIE teachers, teaching senior international students who are aiming for entry into undergraduate degrees at the University of Sydney.
