Job overview

Study Group are Seeking an experienced Partnership Development Officer to work closely with Marketing, Sales and Admissions teams to maximise the commercial potential of Flinders International Study Centre (FISC)

This role will develop and drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency of recruitment of students for Flinders ISC via process, people or practical measures to raise the bar on business performance

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor all Flinders International Study Centre applications; undertake appropriate conversion activity with the aim of increasing NSE volumes
  • Provide advocacy and follow-up on applications in source markets through contact with in-market SGA product managers, SGA sales teams in market, and agents
  • Increase engagement from in-market and on-shore Sales teams
  • Work closely with the Flinders University recruitment team to assist in the execution of strategies as outlined in the FISC Sales and Marketing strategy
  • Liaise with Flinders University Domestic Recruitment team on student referrals for the enrolment of domestic students into FISC programs
  • As required, represent FISC at Domestic and International fairs/exhibitions/interview programs in South Australia; collaborate with ANZ Marketing team and Study Adelaide on opportunities to promote FISC
  • Collaborate with ANZ Marketing team to ensure alignment with FISC Sales and Marketing strategy
  • Assist in supporting the relationship between FISC and relevant Consulates /Cultural Attaches for the enrolment, retention and ongoing reporting of sponsored students
  • Assist with implementation of retention strategies for FISC students to ensure transition to Flinders University
  • Additional duties as required by the FISC Centre Director

Capabilities and Experience required

  • Tertiary educated (preferably in Business and/or Marketing)
  • Fluency in English, and ideally a second language
  • Experience in sales and marketing ideally with exposure to an agency/indirect distribution and sales model
  • A successful track record in delivering results and growth preferably in the education sector
  • Experience in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders
  • Knowledge and understanding of the international student marketplace and the challenges within this industry
  • A commercially astute recruitment, sales, marketing or business development professional
  • Strong self-motivation, with an ability to solve problems and deliver on outcomes
  • Skill in building relationships and the ability to influence both internally and externally
  • Sound business and commercial acumen, analytical and quantitative ability
  • Results oriented with the ability to successfully deliver on sales, financial and customer satisfaction outcomes
  • Sound decision making and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
