Study Group Australia (SGA) operates the Charles Sturt University (CSU) Study Centres in partnership with CSU. CSU and Study Group are committed to providing outstanding educational opportunities for students at our Study Centres. The approved CSU courses delivered at the Study Centres include undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Information Technology, Accounting and Business leading to the award of a CSU qualification.

We are currently seeking academic staff member to assist in the delivery and coordination of the Information Technology programs and to undertake teaching within these programs. The appointee must meet the eligibility requirements for appointment as an adjunct staff member of Charles Sturt University.

Reporting to Student Services Manager (Melbourne), the Student Services Officer will be responsible for providing Compliance, Administrative and operational support to the team who manages and delivers our Charles Sturt University courses.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide academic leadership in the delivery of programs in specific discipline area
  • Manage the courses by undertaking various administration and program management duties
  • Perform whole of degree planning and undertake enrolment/re-enrolment activities
  • Coordinate and promote Student Experience and subject surveys
  • Manage students at risk
  • Contribute to CSU curriculum development when required
  • Provide contact point for CSU staff on academic matters
  • Promote scholarly environment within the Study Centre and team
  • Teach within the undergraduate and postgraduate programs – it is expected that around 6-9hours per week teaching will be undertaken per session
  • Perform any other academic/administrative tasks as required


  • Hold at least a Master’s degree in a relevant field
  • Demonstrate experience in course coordination (multiple subjects) within the Australian Higher Education Sector
  • Demonstrate successful teaching in the discipline at undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the Australian Higher Education sector
  • Have experience in teaching International students;
  • Have superior communication and problem-solving abilities
