Internal Communications Business Partner

Job overview 

The role of the Internal Communications Business Partner is to work under the direction of the London-based Head of Internal Communications and the ANZ HRD, to implement high quality global and local ANZ internal communications that bring to life and support the achievement of Study Group’s Vision 2022 strategy and outcomes.

Contract Type: Perm – Full Time

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver the assigned components of the global internal communication plan and assigned local internal communications.
  • Write engaging communications that resonate with different internal audiences, selecting the most appropriate and effective face-to-face, print and digital channels, with a focus on Workplace (internal Facebook).
  • Collaborate and work with global, regional & local ANZ executive teams to ensure alignment, integration, and consistent narratives for internal audiences.
  • Help develop a strong sense of purpose, collaboration and belonging for Study Group employees.
  • Work with all stakeholders on projects and key communication initiatives as assigned by the Head of Internal Communications.

Skills & Experience

  • Graduate level with some (2-4 years) experience in internal communications, preferably within a corporate environment.
  • Some experience in print and digital communication tools and platforms, including enterprise social networks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong self-starter, able to work autonomously and effectively within a team.
  • Able to consider various stakeholder groups’ interests (cultural norms, engagement needs, etc.) and align communication plans accordingly.  
  • Able to work across different time zones and programmes of work simultaneously.
  • Able to source information and create compelling stories.
  • Bias for action and outcomes, and getting things done within tight deadlines
  • Project management skills, knowledge and experience.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity, and agile around change.
