IT Teacher - ANUC

Dynamic and skilled teachers are invited to apply for part-time IT teaching positions at ANU College, the pathway college for The Australian National University, for courses commencing in August 2019.

ANU College teachers work in a university setting to deliver a wide range of courses for both international and domestic students.
We are seeking applications from candidates who can demonstrate specialist knowledge and teaching experience for the following courses at Diploma level:

  • Software Systems
  • Java
  • Relational Databases
  • Programming and Algorithms

Hours: 5 hours per week (Thursdays 11am-2pm, Fridays 12-2pm), 0.25 contract
Dates: teaching period: 22nd August – 29th November

Skills & Experience

The successful applicant/s will hold the following:

  • Bachelor degree or specialist subject qualifications in IT
  • relevant teaching experience at the senior secondary or tertiary level
  • experience working with international students/young adult cohorts
  • a current Working With Vulnerable People check (or be eligible for one).
