Job overview

In your role as the Sales Excellence Manager, you will be responsible to further optimize Study Group’s agent channel performance supporting one of Study Group’s 5-year plan initiatives: Maximizing agent channel impact. Supporting one of Study Group’s 5-year plan initiatives: Maximizing agent channel impact. This will involve developing and implementing effective processes, tools and programs regarding:

1. Best in class account planning/management

2. Key Account Management

3. Breadth Engagement

4. Agent Life cycle Management

5. Portfolio & Territory Management 

This will include ongoing enforcement to understand the optimal way of working within efficient standardised Global Sales Process and the effective CRM usage (Salesforce.com) 

Job Duties

  • Driving the development, testing and implementation of identified core agent channel sales programs/ levers in close cooperation with the Partner Sales, Partner Development, Partner Marketing and Sales Effectiveness Teams.
  • Monitoring and reinforcing the progress and adoption of optimized application/ processes (eg usage of sales tools/ automation, best practices) in the areas & regions including partnering with the SMT and Training & Development manager to ensure processes, tools, and programs are embedded in ongoing sales management practices inclusive of standard measurements.
  •  Motivate, coach and enable team leaders/ SMT to implement and sustain core programmes as part of daily sales activities, whilst creating an environment that generates a high level of motivation and team spirit.
  • Provide effective consultancy and advisory support to SMT and team leaders to assess current gaps and identify development needs.

Experience required

  • Strong proven sales background – performance & skills – either within Study Group or external (minimum: frontline sales/ preferred: sales management)
  • Proven track record in structured problem solving: problem identification & analysis, solution development & implementation
  • Results-oriented, self-organized and able to propose/ make decisions
  • Strong interpersonal (win trust, build rapport with various stakeholders) and communication skills (presentations etc.)
  • Ability to understand and develop Global Sales Process
  • Leadership and strong desire in developing people
  • Ability to motivate
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce
  • Willingness to travel  (up to 50%/ month)
