Study Group is a third-party service partner to universities (teaching in English) around the world, providing marketing, recruitment, admissions, and English language education services for international students. Recruiting more than 77,000 students from over 170 countries, our marketing services focus on building the brand of each our more than 50 university partners. Critical to the success of this process is the International Marketing Manager, responsible for managing the relationship between the university and Study Group’s dynamic global marketing and recruitment teams, comprised of more than 375 staff in 50 offices around the world.

As an International Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for a portfolio of North American universities, managing the preparation and positioning of their brands on the international higher education market. Your goal, to present each university’s value proposition and programs to key target markets, working with the partner and our marketing teams to craft a compelling brand story that will resonate with students appropriate for recruitment.

The successful candidate for this role is ambitious, dynamic, has international experience, and can navigate the unique needs of different clients within the same industry space, managing both the marketing aspects of the client relationship and successfully positioning each brand.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Some Domestic and International Travel
  • Ability to create compelling data-driven Marketing plans to align with recruitment tactics
  • Maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders
  • Measure ROI on all activities/campaigns
  • Thrive in a heavily matrixed, international environment and attain qualitative and quantitative KPIs
  • Minimum Experience and Qualifications Include:
  • Minimum 5 years consumer brand marketing experience in an agency-style setting (preferably 3 of which in a multi-national space)
  • Knowledge and understanding of international marketplace and impact of geopolitical external factors on higher education market (specifically in the U.S. and Canada)
  • Ability to work in a fast paced high-growth environment with fluid market landscape, adopting strategies and tactics accordingly
  • Knowledge and understanding of a multi-channel distribution environment
