Job overview

This front line telesales position within the Direct Sales team is focused on achieving student number and revenue targets across the full portfolio of Study Group Higher Education programmes across the Latin American region. The successful candidate will be required to sell over the phone and by email and deliver outstanding customer service.

Key responsibilities

  • Management of a sales pipeline from initial enquiry through to arrival in centre within the Direct Sales Process
  • To provide sector leading education counselling that helps students choose a Study Group Higher Education pathway programme
  • Effective and impactful management of student data using Salesforce CRM to drive increased sales conversion
  • Provide quantitative and qualitative insights to management and stakeholders
  • Manage workload to maintain 100% compliance with Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements
  • Collaborate with internal teams to obtain the best, most appropriate offer for the student based on their needs and ability

Experience

  • Educated to degree level
  • Fluency in English. Second language desirable but not essential
  • 3+yrs experience in telesales with a demonstrable track record of achieving targets
  • Extensive CRM knowledge and experience of pipeline management, preferably salesforce.com
  • Experience of identifying a customer’s business drivers and influencing their buying behaviour in line with a customer value proposition
  • Knowledge and understanding of the international student marketplace and UK higher education system (desirable but not essential)
  • Overseas education experience (desirable but not essential)
