We’re hiring for a new member of the team, to be based at Baylor University, one of our most important University partners in North America.

In this job you’ll use your proven experience within an Admissions function, and your exemplary customer service and organisational abilities, to facilitate the student journey, and deliver on our commitment to put “Students first.”

Key responsibilities

In this job, you’ll be responsible for the following:

  • Being primary admissions contact for partner university admissions staff, Study Group recruitment staff and Study Group partner agents , responding to queries within agreed timeframes
  • Processing and assessing international applications and enrollments according to specified procedures within agreed time frames
  • Preparing and delivering training on admission requirements to recruitment members
  • Entering and tracking application data on student enrollment databases, maintaining all student records ensuring all data is accurate and current
  • Supporting and assisting Study Group recruitment staff, Study Group partner agents and students with pre-arrival inquiries
  • Proactively managing initial deposit and first semester invoicing and refund procedures, liaising with students, agents and financial departments when necessary
  • Partnering with Center Director/Manager and Head of English, adjusting course bookings per arrival testing when necessary
  • Liaising with Study Group recruitment staff to support agent relationship targets and optimize conversion
  • Monitoring and compiling enrollment data, agent trends and local market information ensuring the Team Lead Admissions Assessment is aware of any potential agent, center or market issues
  • Proactively seek and maintain accurate product knowledge of all Center and University programs
  • Assisting with and participate in Study Group recruitment staff, Study Group partner agents and students visits
  • Maintaining superior customer service with students, university admissions staff, ISC staff, Study Group recruitment staff and Study Group partner agents

Capabilities/experience

For this job you’ll need to have previous experience within an Admissions team. You’ll also possess the following qualifications and competencies:

  • A well-developed work ethic
  • The ability to perform mathematical calculations with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong research, reporting and project management skills
  • Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, problem solve and exercise good judgement
  • Skill at building and maintaining positive, cooperative, and service-oriented relationships
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills and ability to present information effectively
  • An ability to work independently or in a high-performance team with minimal supervision
  • An ability to identify and take initiative when appropriate, and when to escalate questions or emerging issues
  • A personal working style that fits in a positive, team-focused, exciting and growing workplace
  • Technically proficiency in the use Microsoft Office programs specifically, Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint, and the ability to easily adapt to new software and systems
