Two Study Group collaborating universities scoop gold at PIEoneer awards

Two Study Group collaborating universities were awarded accolades by PIE News at the first ever PIEoneer Awards 2017.
The ceremony took place in London on 8th September and honoured universities worldwide for their success across an array of facets of higher education provision, from student support to marketing.
The University of Sheffield was awarded ‘Marketing campaign of the year’ with the ‘#WeAreInternational’ campaign, which has been taken up across the UK as a national higher education drive to highlight the UK as a welcoming place for international students. Study Group have also participated in this campaign across International Study Centres and Bellerbys College.
The University of Sydney was awarded the accolade for Accommodation provider of the year. Recognising the University’s commitment to students, judges said: “The University of Sydney demonstrated a transformational approach to service delivery and student engagement achieved via investment into new buildings, ensuring below-market rents, doubling interest-free loans, waiving deposits, increasing bursary funds for international students, embedding cultural competence into training for residential leaders and resident arrival packages/resident care program.”
