The study centres currently deliver Charles Sturt University’s postgraduate and undergraduate courses in Business, Accounting and Information Technology to more than 1400 international students.
Study Group manages the entire program delivery to Charles Sturt University’s high standards, including staff and student recruitment, teaching and student support services.
Charles Sturt University has renewed Study Group’s contract for another five years, with a further five year option following a review.
Study Group global Chief Executive Officer Heith Mackay-Cruise said the renewal was a vote of confidence in the quality of program delivery Study Group provides.
“We have been providing world-class education support to Charles Sturt University since 1998 and we are thrilled to be continuing our relationship with one of Australia’s leading regional universities,” he said.
“We have helped Charles Sturt University triple their international student numbers in the past few years, through both strategic marketing and having students return home overseas with a quality education.”
“We currently have students from 56 different countries studying at our two Charles Sturt University study centres in the key internationally attractive markets of Sydney and Melbourne.”
Study Group has more than 20 exclusive university partnerships globally, including providing Foundation Year courses to prepare international students for their undergraduate studies at the University of Sydney and The University of Western Australia.
The renewal of the Charles Sturt University agreement follows a positive audit of the Study Centres by the Australian Universities Quality Agency and a thorough audit and review of all Study Centre operations by the university itself.
Charles Sturt University Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Ian Goulter, said: “We are pleased to continue our ongoing partnership with Study Group.
“The ability for Study Group to recruit to and teach our Charles Sturt University programmes to such a diverse range of international students with strong academic outcomes complements our position as a leading educator of professionals.
“We are excited by the new contractual term as we look to expand our offering with Study Group.”
