Study Group Signs Agreement with Trinity College and University College Dublin
20 April 2011
We are delighted to announce that an agreement to provide university preparation courses has been signed with Ireland’s two most prestigious universities, both ranked in the world top 100.
The International Study Centre (ISC) will open in September 2011. Based in the heart of Dublin, just a 10 minute walk from Trinity College and 15 minutes by bus from the University College Dublin campus, it will provide the International Foundation Year for progression to both Trinity College and University College Dublin, and a Pre-Masters for progression to University College Dublin.
The landmark agreement is the first of its kind in the Republic of Ireland. It allows the two universities to introduce innovative new pathways for international student recruitment from a broad range of countries, in support of the government’s new five-year international education strategy.
The ISC’s first intake will be in September this year for ELP courses and academic programmes. Current confirmed courses for both universities include the International Foundation Year with Business, Economics and Social Studies, and Science and Engineering pathways. ISC students progressing to University College Dublin can also undertake a Pre-Masters programme leading to a postgraduate degree at the UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School.
