Pre-Masters Programme introduced at Lancaster University International Study Centre for 2018

Ever since its opening in 2007, the Lancaster University International Study Centre has provided an excellent education for our international students. This October, we are launching the Pre-Masters Programme, creating even more opportunities for international students to study with us. Students will have the choice of two pathway options, both offering progression to a wide range of postgraduate degrees at the highly-ranked Lancaster University.

Study Group is pleased to provide international students with more opportunities to further their education. In this case, progression degrees leading to Masters programmes within four different faculties at Lancaster University

  • Lancaster University Management School (LUMS)
  • Arts and Social Sciences (FASS)
  • Science and Technology (FST)
  • Health and Medicine (FHM) 

The benefits of the Pre-Masters Programme

Students will benefit from the programme in a variety of ways, including gaining access to over 50 progression degrees across four faculties. Students who successfully complete the Pre-Masters programme will have the opportunity to progress to a top ranking university which features in the top ten of three major UK university league tables (The Times &The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018, The Guardian University Guide 2018 and The Complete University Guide 2018). Lancaster was also recently named University of The Year 2018 by The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide.

The Pre-Masters Programme ensures that students who enter a taught postgraduate programme are equipped with an understanding of fundamental required content knowledge, as well as the skills of application and analysis needed for their chosen degrees.
