Leicester attracts exceptional students

A former University of Leicester International Study Centre student has been shortlisted for the prestigious Telegraph STEM Awards 2017.

Oishi from India began her studies with the International Foundation Year Engineering and Technology at the International Study Centre. She is now studying the BEng Software and Electronic Engineering at the University of Leicester.

Oishi said, “I am really pleased that my idea got shortlisted by Rolls-Royce. I got the opportunity to present my idea face to face to the directors and very high up people at Rolls-Royce. It was a great experience.”




Progression to a high-ranking university

The University of Leicester is ranked:

  • 25th in the UK (The Times and The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2017).
