19 February 2018

Programme enhancements drive broader subject range among University of Sussex International Study Centre offering.

Study Group is delighted to announce some changes to science and engineering courses at the University of Sussex International Study Centre. The changes have been introduced to broaden the subject offering at the International Study Centre, making a wider range of University of Sussex degrees accessible to international students.

The enhancement of the International Year One in Engineering means that from September 2018, students can commence a pathway programme leading to the second year of undergraduate study in a broad range of areas such as computer science, mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or electrical and electronic engineering.

The brand new Pre-Masters Programme in Science and Engineering marks an exciting development for the postgraduate programme offering at the University of Sussex International Study Centre. This is the first postgraduate STEM programme for the International Study Centre. It opens up a wide range of new subjects with more than 20 progression degree options. The course offers two pathways:

  • Computing and Engineering
  • Life Sciences

Both pathway options are available as one or two semester programmes, ensuring the greatest level of accessibility to international students. The module options on this programme allow students to focus on areas relevant to their chosen Masters degree.
