Three good reasons to study a Pre-Masters

1. To develop high-level academic English and study skills

Masters study requires students to be able to use English in the academic environment to a high standard. The Pre-Masters course gives a thorough grounding in these areas, so that students have the confidence to take part in presentations and seminars, and thrive academically.

2. To improve academic knowledge beyond degree or diploma level

Students don’t have to have studied a degree to apply to start a Pre-Masters. Some courses offer entry for students who have studied to diploma level. Pre-Masters courses offer a variety of routes, where modules are designed to ensure students study the specific subjects required.

3. To study a new subject area

If students want to study a completely new field or change career, the Pre-Masters will give them the new academic knowledge required to take their chosen path.
