Leeds Beckett University
Study Group has partnered with Leeds Beckett University to provide international students with study pathways at Leeds International Study Centre, leading to work-ready undergraduate and postgraduate degrees at Leeds Beckett University.
Where students get the competitive edge
Founded in 1824, Leeds Beckett University provides work-ready education for students who can’t wait to graduate to kick-start their career. The University employs expert academics who maintain close links with industry to ensure that students graduate with the latest skills, knowledge and professional accreditation that their choice of career demands. Leeds Beckett students get practical experience via placements with global companies, such as O2, Disney, the BBC and Microsoft.
Pathways at the Leeds International Study Centre are designed to complement students' existing knowledge and
drive with vital study skills, academic knowledge
and English language training, giving students the confidence they need to succeed at university
and beyond. The International Study Centre is located in the centre of the city, opposite the railway station and close to shops, supermarkets, cafés, restaurants, bars and student accommodation.
"The Leeds ISC tutors are very friendly and good at explaining things. The teaching method is very good - everyone gets attention with it being smaller classes, so you don’t feel left out. When I started here my Maths was poor and my tutor has pushed me to help my development. I have made friends at the Leeds ISC and at Leeds Beckett University as we study in the same building. I like the building we are based in as there is a social learning space where I can print my work before class and there is also a café.”
