Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Co-ordinator

Bellerbys College Brighton is a co-educational independent college for approximately 800, mainly international, students, with a small but growing native English speaker cohort.
We are looking for a SEND Co-ordinator to support our teachers and students on a part-time basis. To ensure that students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) learn effectively and make outstanding progress.
- Experience establishing processes for identifying and supporting students with learning difficulties
- Understanding of the strategies needed to ensure SEND students learn effectively
- Works well in teams
- Able to communicate effectively and lead training sessions
- Possess the skills and determination to make a significant difference to the lives of our students

Applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the role, including checks with past employers, an Enhanced Check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and overseas criminal records checks if appropriate.
