Our Bellerbys College in Brighton is seeking a Director of Welfare to join its College Senior Leadership team.

Job Description

The Director of Welfare is responsible for leading the College’s pastoral, welfare and student services provision, including all aspects of student residential accommodation. Working as part of the College’s senior team, the post-holder will ensure that the College remains compliant with the National Minimum Standards for Boarding Schools and achieves the very highest standards when it is subject to all forms of external scrutiny. The post-holder will take an active role in leading the College’s implementation of its safeguarding policy (using Department Representatives from across the College who comprise the College Safeguarding Team), ensuring that the welfare, care and health and safety of all students are central to all College operations.
