Student Services Representative

Job Purpose

The Student Services Department provides support to Embassy English students with their booking, housing, visa and social activities arrangements while studying at Embassy. The Student Services Representative provides Embassy students with the support they need outside the classroom.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide superior customer service
  • Assist students with any questions or concerns they have
  • Maintain accuracy of student data in database
  • Ensure accuracy of booking changes and collection of fees
  • Ensure completeness of student documents
  • Manage activities program, including scheduling, promotion, and sales
  • Plan and host monthly events at the center
  • Provide information about the school to prospective students and agent partners
  • Promote additional sales to current students
  • Other tasks and assignments as required
  • Assist with Embassy English social media administration

Selection Criteria

Qualifications & Training

  • Bachelor’s degree required

Experience Required

  • Minimum 2 years administrative and customer service experience (academic setting preferred)

Knowledge and Skills

  • Experience using and updating databases 
  • Fluent in Outlook, Word and Excel
  • An excellent relationship builder who has good team-building and communication skills
  • Dedicated to providing superior customer service 
  • Able to demonstrate first rate organizational and project management skills
  • Comfortable speaking in front of groups and acting as a representative for Embassy English
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Able to offer drive, creativity and enthusiasm
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work with ambiguity
  • Friendly demeanor
  • Knowledge of a foreign language preferred
  • Study abroad experience preferred
