Vaughan Leyshon highlights key areas that helped Sussex achieve its impressive 99.7% progression rate in an article for the University Business magazine

Vaughan Leyshon, Centre Director at the University of Sussex International Study Centre (ISC), has published an informative article that talks about how universities can help international students achieve academic success at the ISC, and university.

Published in University Business, a specialist further and higher education magazine, the article by Vaughan Leyshon says that the University of Sussex ISC’s outstanding progression rate is down to an incredibly close and effective working relationship between Study Group and the University of Sussex.

He said: “Our 99.7% progression rate is a direct result of the solid relationship between us and the university, ensuring that all our international students are given the best possible opportunity to excel in their studies.”

In addition, Vaughan Leyshon examines five areas that are key to ensuring students progress to university – excellent pastoral and academic care, the right staff, pathway programs that align with the progression degrees, technology as a teaching tool and well-informed agents.
