New appointments signal company growth in Australia
04 May 2012
In May 2012, we brought together our Career Education and Higher Education Partnership divisions in Australasia.
Integrating these two divisions into a single operating model is the result of an extensive review of Study Group’s structure, processes and resources that makes manifest our mission for successful student outcomes. Increasing our focus on the outcome for students is at the heart of what we do and is central to our new business model.
Making our ambitious growth strategy work means having the right people in the right roles from the very start. With this in mind, we have appointed two new senior executives to support and implement this strategy for growth.
Warren Jacobson has been Managing Director of Study Group’s Career Education division since 2009. With extensive experience in education sector, Warren is the former CEO of Kaplan Professional in Australia. He is now the Managing Director for the new Australasian business structure that incorporates the two divisions.
Dr. Ian Goulter takes on the newly created role of non-executive Chairman, Study Group Australia. Former Vice-Chancellor of Charles Sturt University from 2001 to 2011, Dr. Goulter’s position complements the role of Dr. John Hood, Chairman and non-executive director of Study Group’s global operations.
Both Warren Jacobson and Dr. Goulter are poised to take on their roles in our ambitious strategy, utilizing our core capabilities and competitive advantage to advance the frontiers of educational possibilities for both domestic and international students in Australia.
