On-campus undergraduate degree preparation at a global top 1% university

The Lancaster University International Study Centre building was opened in November 2011 to cope with increasing demand and is already thriving, with a diverse cohort of students from around the world, recruited through Study Group’s global marketing and recruitment teams. Housed in the George Fox building in the heart of the university campus, the International Study Centre provides the latest in teaching and technology resources.

Foundation leading to broad choice of degree courses

Specific academic studies, English language, study preparation and pastoral support give students the knowledge base and study skills to succeed once they progress onto their undergraduate degree. The International Study Centre offers a choice of International Foundation Year programmes, each carefully created with the university academic team. The programmes provide a seamless transition into year one of a broad selection of mainstream courses at Lancaster University, one of the top 10 universities in the UK (Guardian University Guide 2016 and the Complete University Guide 2016).

Our International Study Centre programmes include:

  • Business and Management Studies
  • Engineering and Computing
  • Law
  • Social Studies
  • Life Sciences
  • Mathematics and Statistics.
